Creativity With Intention

I didn’t draw, sculpt, or sing – and I believed creativity was reserved for the artists. But when I realized it’s so much more than that and started treating my life like a blank canvas where the paintbrush is how and where I choose to devote my creativity – I began to look for ways to express that creativity.

As a lover.
When creating my offerings in business.
When curating my home.
Designing experiences for myself, my friends, family, and clients.

In the beginning of this discovery, I found creativity when practicing corporate law and how I structured my services (to this day, I don’t know of a firm that did things quite the way we did).

Even sending gifts to clients is a creative love affair. From choosing the most thoughtful gift to wrapping it with intention. Every element of the client experience is a part of my creative expression.

Today, I treat my creativity as the life force that I infuse into everything I do. I treat it as the pinnacle of my self-expression.

I find, when I bring this level of intention and creative consciousness into what I’m doing – it becomes a powerful part of my legacy, my ripples in the pond.

It fuels my business growth, my relationship with my daughter and other precious relationships, and various creative pursuits that inspire me – like writing a book or doing an elaborate photoshoot production in the middle of nowhere, California.

As you step into the new year, where will you infuse your creativity with intention? What’s a creative project or experience you’re most excited about?

Peak Experience

There’a a reason many transformative retreats lead these types of epic outer world experiences. They offer a rush of emotion that leads to a fresh perspective on life. I’ve done several and find them exhilarating!

But I find, once the emotional rush subsides – days, weeks, and sometimes months later – you’re still the same you that stepped on that bridge and took a leap.

I found that the true peak experiences that create lasting transformation – are the ones that focus first on your Inner World adventure.

I think of it as “book ending” a transformative inner-world experience with an epic emotional state of being, knowing that the two compliment each other.

In truth, after leading many transformative experiences (and you probably know this) sometimes the inner world adventure feels like a scarier leap than the one you take off the bridge.

That’s because when you join me to attend the Beyond The Edge retreat – I’m asking you to take a leap into the unknown, a leap into yourself – and there’s no proverbial harness to catch you.

Instead, what you find on the other side is an experience of yourself from a vantage point of your highest potential – a transformation that’s embodied and lasting. And sometimes, something you wouldn’t have expected. 😉

Message me for the next Beyond The Edge retreat dates!

*Beyond The Edge is my signature retreat, one of its kind, that encapsulates a series of Peak Experiences over the course of 4 days at a beautiful estate in Northern California.

Identity

*If you believe yourself to be very open, raw, and honest with yourself and people in your life, I invite you to keep reading… because this is likely for you <3

It’s so deep at the core (for us women especially) because we’ve learned to operate in portrayal for success. I know it’s gotten me far, and it’s probably served you as well.

You’ve portrayed and embodied the qualities of a powerful woman in business.
You’ve learned how to fulfill other people’s expectations and always strive to fulfill your own.
You’ve known how to be a woman who achieves things, who makes sure her partner or husband feels like a man, or perhaps who does what you want him to…

You think it’s what you need to do to get what you want.
Without realizing it’s the very thing stopping you from getting it.

All this time, you wonder why you’re not living out your highest potential.
But, it’s simply not possible.

I fell in love with gifting women the experience of being their highest self – rediscovering who they are at the core, and practicing being that person.

Imagine getting the opportunity to BE the version of yourself you’ve sacrificed to fulfill all these expectations.

You get the experience of being seen and seeing yourself with a whole new perspective – untethered from the expectations and portrayal. I witness it every time women come into the Beyond The Edge retreat.

You arrive and shed your identity, often for the first time in your life. You get the chance to practice being you in a safe space, where no one knows who you are and everyone is focused on their own evolution.

You discover a whole new way of being and seeing possibilities – unbarred from the limits you’ve unknowingly placed on yourself.

As you can imagine, it creates a massive shift and ripple effect that touches all aspects of life – business, love, relationships & the big vision.

Alignment (in business)

It often plays out in one of the following ways:

— you used to feel energized by the business but now it feels like slogging
— you can see another direction you could take, but the idea lingers in the background while you go on with business as usual (which is probably quite successful)
— you’re uninspired by your clients
— there’s something behind the scenes you’re excited about but you can’t see how it would integrate with the business as it currently stands

But because of the success of the business, there’s a natural hesitation to sell or redesign or remodel. Understandably, it feels like a lot is at stake. Not to mention the time and energy investment that went into creating something you’re proud of.

*I was proud of my law firm, but at one point, it was simply no longer aligned with my evolving vision, my deeper calling.

But one thing I know to be true… is that you can’t be at your maximum impact and success if you are not 100% aligned with your business as it stands right now.

If even there’s a tiny shred of… “maybe I should be doing this,”

You’ll never reach the highest potential of impact and success that’s available to you.
The tiniest shred will always be the glass ceiling limiting you.

It helps to be reminded that this “shred” is intuitive intelligence, information guiding you towards something greater. And you get to follow that if you choose.

If there’s even a tiny part of you that’s seeking more alignment in your business right now, I invite you to one of the following:

1) You can start by following the signature process I take my clients through when we redesign their business offerings. You’ll be surprised how simply upleveling your offer suite can realign your entire business to serve you and your vision at a deeper level.

2) If you sense there’s deeper misalignment beyond your offer suite and simple tweaks, and you desire support – let’s connect.

*My calendar is open to limited spots every month for the women who are ready to re-align fully (in a way where you’re not burning bridges but making a conscious transition with the most ease). Send me a message if this is you.

3) And, I saved the best for last… Beyond The Edge Retreat dates are here, and I don’t know of a better way to step into your highest vision, and set yourself up for inspired success. Ask me about it, and we can see if it’s the right experience for you.

To your deepest alignment and success,

Sloane

The Missing Key

So many women share with me how, after years of coaching, therapy, and healing – there’s still a lingering sense that there’s something you haven’t yet touched, uncovered, or unlocked.

I know this feeling so intimately because it was only a few years ago when I asked myself, “What am I not seeing?”

Even after a decade of personal development work, I felt as if there was a subtle knowing that I was not going ALL the way to my highest expression and life experience.

If you’ve recently had this insight – know this might be an important pivotal moment, where you’re ready to go to the depth you haven’t been to before.

And, through my personal experience of this, I realized that our mentors, coaches, guides can only take us as deep as they have gone themselves. (Which is sometimes the reason why after years of therapy, you still feel “untapped” to your fullest potential and expression)

I’m curious, have you ever had this feeling and experience?

The Urge

I’ll be honest, I’ve sat with that feeling at various turning points in my life, and if I could go back, I would tell myself that…

“You’re not as far off of your trajectory as you might feel in this moment. Breathe.”

I’d also probably tell myself that this urge to walk away and start over is a sign of a deeper pattern, but that’s another post 😉

What I’ve seen over and over again is that most people are ON the path to alignment with their highest potential and impact. Most often, they’re closer than they think.

But what do you do when one day you wake up, look around at everything you’ve built – and everything you believed you wanted – and ask yourself, “Isn’t there more?”

There’s important information encoded in that feeling of wanting to walk away, of wanting something more, even in that feeling of doubt.

The beautiful thing is, that feeling is pointing you to the subtle shift you need to make to get back on track.

Have you ever experienced this feeling of wanting to walk away from your business?
How did you move through it?
